Holy Redeemer School Council
The Holy Redeemer School Council is comprised of the school Principal and Vice-Principal, along with members representing parents/guardians, teaching staff, and the broader community. Council members provide input and advice to the Principal on important topics throughout the school year.
We are a dedicated group of parents and guardians working together to support our students, staff, and school community. From organizing much-loved events like the End-of-Year BBQ, school dances, school merchandise and Christmas Shopping Day, to running the school lunch program, our council plays an active role in making school life fun and enriching for everyone.
Beyond events, we work behind the scenes to secure grants for important initiatives—such as last year’s Paul Davis Internet Safety presentation—and to provide financial support for teacher-led classroom projects and activities. We’d love for you to get involved or reach out anytime! Contact us at: HolyRedParentCouncil@gmail.com.

If you don't have a Parent Portal account? Before you can use the Parent Portal, you must register so that we can verify your information. This ensures that only authorized parents/guardians are able to view their child’s report card. You only need to register once, even if you have more than one child in the OCSB. Your secure account will give you access to all of your children’s report card data. To register, you will need to provide the following information. To ensure privacy and security it must match the data that is on record with the school:
Email address of Parent/Guardian
First name of Parent/Guardian
Last name of Parent/Guardian
House Number (the number in the home address) of the youngest child in the family who is registered in an OCSB school
Birthdate of the youngest child in the family who is registered in an OCSB school
Step 1: Go to the school board’s website, www.ocsb.ca and scroll all the way down to the bottom. You will see the links to the different portals. Click on “Parent Portal” and follow the instructions to register.
Step 2: Activate your account. After you register, you will receive a confirmation email with a link. Click the link in the email to set up your password and activate your Parent Portal account.
Step 3: Access the Parent Portal. There are two ways to access the Parent Portal: online through a web browser, or on a mobile device through an iOS or Android app. Both provide the same student information, but the app will allow you to receive notifications. Click the button on the Board website’s Parent Portal screen to go to the portal login screen. Or, if using your phone, click the Install App button in the bottom right corner of the login screen.
Troubleshooting Issues: If you are having difficulty getting into the Parent Portal there are normally three issues:
The email you are logging in with isn't the email that the school uses
For address they are only asking for your STREET number only.
You are asked to give the birth date of your youngest child AT THE SCHOOL.
There is a chat button at the bottom right corner and if you click that they can walk you through the steps.
