International Walk to School Day gives children, parents, teachers and community leaders an opportunity to be part of a global event
while celebrating the many benefits of walking.

We encourage everyone to participate and walk, bike, skip or hop to school on Wednesday, October 8th, 2014.

Parent volunteers will be in the school yard from 8:10 – 8:25  a.m. to greet the children and hand out stickers and pencils.  We understand that many parents work and therefore cannot take part,  so the children that arrive to school by bus or attend the extended care program in the am may proceed to the yard to receive their sticker and pencil. If it happens to rain, the parent volunteers will hand out the pencils and stickers in the school lobby and all students are welcome to stop by to pick up their pencil and sticker.
