This video promotes the importance of participating in the dental screening at the school.  Dental screening is important because 57% of 6-11 year olds have or have had a cavity. If left untreated, dental problems can lead to pain and infection; and a small problem becomes a bigger problem.

Dental problems can cause:

·                      difficulty sleeping

·                      poor concentration

·                      learning difficulties

·                      limited choice of food because of the inability to chew properly

·                      troubled speech

·                      premature loss of teeth

·                      lower self esteem

·                      widespread infection for severe cases.
